Let’s celebrate the beauty of unusual places and extreme landscapes, with that strange uniqueness that overwhelms us as our own.
The gardens of Versailles are designed with an intentional geometry that is vehemently perceived, not only in the distribution of space but also in the flower beds and plant elements. We have travelled there for their season of greatest splendor with the Plisy collection. Luminaires with an angular shade inspired by pleated fabrics, reproduced in a rigid and surprising polyethylene material. Through their geometries, the clipped shapes of Versailles and Plisy Up are like two bodies from different eras capable of recognizing and connecting beyond space and time.
“I feel affection for the everyday objects that are most familiar to us, with which we have lived for years, rescued from our childhood memories. Plisy up is a rechargeable floor lamp inspired by traditional indoor lampshades with pleated fabric, reminiscent of memories shared indoors wrapped in its soft light. A classic design reinterpreted with materials resistant to the outdoors, and the pleated aesthetic reproduced in polyethylene. The emotional charge of this floor lamp transmits enough warmth to use it in outdoor and indoor environments”.
