Legal warranty conditions for DIABLA® brand products 

Application of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, approving the amended text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws. All DIABLA® brand products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects that affect their suitability for use for a period of two (2) years. This applies to normal conditions of use and maintenance. 

Claims regarding manufacturing defects should be addressed directly to the authorised distributor of GANDÍA BLASCO, S.A. (owner of DIABLA® brand) from which the product was purchased, giving written notice of the incident and enclosing the necessary photographs to illustrate the defect claimed, together with the pertinent invoice or sales receipt. 

When the incident has been studied, GANDIA BLASCO, S.A. alone shall be entitled to decide whether to repair, replace or even reduce the price of the product, depending on the size of the defect and/or impossibility of applying any other option.

Repair/Change

Within six months of the purchase date, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge (provided the invoice or purchase receipt justifies the purchase date). From six months to two years, the consumer must prove that the non-conformity (defect) existed when the goods were delivered.

Estimate for repair

Outside the guarantee period (more than two years since purchase or six months without justification for the non-conformity) the Technical Service may prepare an estimate for repair (the cost of which must be settled before the repair is made). In this case, transport costs in both directions are payable by the client.

Nullification of the Guarantee

The guarantee shall be null and void if the defects identified are the consequence of accident, abuse, misuse, handling or attempted repairs by persons not attached to GANDIA BLASCO, S.A. Also excluded from the guarantee are faults caused by catastrophe (fire, floor, earthquake...), atmospheric damage, collisions and falls.

User’s compensation

Liability and compensation is limited solely to replacing or repairing defective products that comply with the aforementioned conditions, unless an agreement is reached with the user to reduce the price or give a full refund of the price of the article.

General

GANDÍA BLASCO, S.A. as the manufacturer of this product, shall be liable solely for manufacturing defects, and accepts no liability for any loss or damage deriving thereof. GANDÍA BLASO, S.A. accepts no liability, under any circumstances, for damage or faults caused by circumstances other than manufacturing, such as storage in unsuitable conditions, damage during transport, distribution and/or delivery of the product to the consumer or incorrect or inappropriate use by the consumer, or for faults or imperfections resulting from the passage of time or normal wear and tear.
